Based in the heart of Manchester, we provide Education and Training courses both in our own centre and out in the community or business as required.

We provide the following courses:

• ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) - Pre-Entry Level to Level 1, accredited by Trinity College London
• Life in the UK
• Courses for children including Cantonese, and for Chinese children: ESOL, and Drama Club
• Chinese Language courses in Mandarin and Cantonese, at all levels
• English classes (non exam) including 1:1 tutoring and intensive courses for students
• Childcare NVQ Level 2 (provided by BoltonWISE)

We support community learning spaces and community internet cafes.

We deliver wide ranging services in ESOL/IT/Chinese Language and Culture, as well as work related training and qualifications including, Employability, Volunteering, CIEH Food Safety Level 2, and NVQs in Advice and Guidance and Childcare.

Our Learning Centre is well resourced with a Windows 7 ICT Suite and net books, back up by experienced technical staff.

We also have extensive ESOL and other learning resources, and well qualified experienced Tutors and IAG Staff, supported by volunteers and work placement students.

We provide specialist language support in Mandarin and Cantonese, and most of our staff/volunteers speak other languages.

We work with Manchester City Council, and Salford City Council to provide free exam courses for Job Seekers, discounted courses for those on Family related benefits, and free non exam courses for workless people to help them progress onto further training and employment.

We work with Job Centre Plus, Other providers and Work programme companies to assist JSA and ESA to access services and we provide Knowledge Bank for G4S.

We provide creche support and work with Schools and Surestart Centres to deliver Education and Training to women and parents in the heart of communities.

Our Learners are supported with an IAG service and we are Matrix accredited.

We also provide lots of other free support for learners.
